Naval Nuclear Laboratory in Charleston is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to drive the transition of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Program to NGTP. You will influence fleet readiness by managing complex project plans, baselines, and scheduling for NGTP implementation, integrating with the NPTU Charleston Site Program Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 9+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with fewer years.
• Experience leading Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training programs or NGTP transitions.
• U.S. citizen and eligible for DoD clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution for NGTP-related site programs and Charleston initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, cost baselines, and schedule analyses for NGTP.
• Manage Integrated Master Schedule and support long-range budget planning.
• Coordinate with DoD, DoN, and site organizations on training facilities and initiatives.
• Prepare reports and visuals for senior stakeholders; lead reviews and meetings.
