Job summary

Pavion Corp is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead large-scale low-voltage system projects and provide senior technical leadership across cross-functional teams. You will guide engineering design, validation, and documentation, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with vendors, and drive project execution from design through commissioning, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience engineering low-voltage systems and leading large or complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD or similar design tools.
• Deep technical knowledge of security, access control, fire alarm, AV, and related systems.
• Strong understanding of networked systems and IT infrastructure as it relates to low-voltage integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for large-scale, complex, or enterprise-level low-voltage systems projects, ensuring all technical aspects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive project execution strategies, anticipating risks and addressing complex technical challenges proactively.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for assigned projects, providing expert guidance, mentorship, and support to project teams and field staff to enhance performance and professional growth.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and problem resolution during all project phases, balancing technical feasibility with business objectives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align engineering deliverables with overall project goals, ensuring smooth communication and efficient issue escalation.
• Monitor project progress and intervene when necessary to keep projects on track, ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.
