Everforth Apex Systems in Warren, MI is seeking a Product Engineering - Project Engineer 4 to lead the development, integration, validation, and launch of instrument panel, floor console, and decorative trim systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Materials, or related).
- 8–10 years in instrument panel, floor console, and decorative trim development through launch.
- Experience with IP, FC, and decorative trim systems and design for manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, analysis, and validation of instrument panel and console subsystems.
- Perform engineering evaluations and concept development across vehicle programs.
- Use DFMEA, PFMEA, and ICDs to develop system solutions.
- Manage CAD development and packaging with other vehicle systems teams.
- Lead program launch activities with focus on quality and on-time execution.
- Collaborate with CAE for robustness validation and design iterations.
- Travel as needed to supplier and company locations.
