Base Pay Range

$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Must be local to the Cincinnati/NKY area

Role Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, documentation, and execution of assigned project(s)
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers and interns
• Drive technology initiatives and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery
• Provide technical direction to CAD designers and technicians
• Design, develop, analyze, and test products, systems, or subsystems
• Incorporate customer requirements into engineering work
• Conduct performance reviews for direct reports
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
• Communicate progress, status, and technical updates clearly (written and verbal)
• Support proposal development and prepare Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
• Apply design-to-cost, weight, manufacturability, and assembly principles
• Utilize project tools and software as expected by leadership
• Review and interpret customer specifications to develop optimal designs
• Collaborate professionally with cross-functional teams
• Lead or support improvement and process initiatives
• Available for limited travel
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5–7 years of relevant engineering/project management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and EVMS certification
• Familiarity with DoD programs highly preferred; commercial experience considered
