Job summary

C.T. Male Associates in Latham, NY is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to lead land development and infrastructure projects from feasibility through permitting and construction support.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on challenging projects in a collaborative office setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a NYS Professional Engineer license, 8+ years of related experience, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Eight (8+) years of progressive related technical experience and/or training
• New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Knowledge of land-use processes and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform limited travel to project sites and C.T. Male offices in upstate New York.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidiscipline design teams, correspond with clients, consultants, and contractors, and communicate effectively.
• Lead and produce project designs, including site civil plans, engineering reports, calculations, specifications, construction details, and other technical documents for municipal permit packages and issued-for-bid/constructed documents.
• Proficient in site civil design and permitting (grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, utilities, local/state permits).
• Inspire teamwork through excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with clients, staff, and regulatory authorities.
• Foster positive, cooperative relationships with clients and demonstrate leadership in quality control through the firm's quality management program.
