Job summary

Actalent is seeking a licensed Project Architect with a clear path to ownership to lead housing and community-focused projects from schematic design through construction documents in our Seattle office. You will mentor a small team, ensure technical quality, and engage with clients in meetings and presentations.

The role focuses on mission-driven design within a collaborative, woman-owned architecture practice, offering leadership responsibilities and opportunities toward Principal-level

Qualifications

• Lead projects from schematic design through construction documents.
• Ensure quality control and technical oversight for drawings, specs, and coordination.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff while guiding design and detailing.
• Lead compliance with building codes and ADA requirements across projects.
• Set modeling and documentation standards in Revit for coordination.
• Support client meetings, proposals, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from schematic design through construction documents.
• Oversee QA/QC and reviews of drawings, specs, and coordination documents.
• Provide technical oversight on code and ADA compliance.
• Supervise and collaborate with staff on design and detailing.
• Guide the team in Revit-based production and standards.
• Participate in construction administration and RFIs, submittals.
