Job summary

EwingCole in Raleigh seeks a Project Architect to lead design delivery across all phases, from schematic design through construction administration. The role focuses on maintaining design intent, technical quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding teams to produce high-quality documentation and specifications.

Requires a Bachelor of Architecture (Master preferred), registered in at least one state, and 12+ years of experience; sustainability credentials encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture required, Master of Architecture preferred.
• Registered Architect in at least one state with suitable credentials for registration in other states.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Sustainability credential strongly encouraged.
• Excels in the guidelines of preceding roles including Architect 2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects across all phases from schematic design to construction documentation, ensuring design intent and technical quality are maintained.
• Guide teams to create high-quality specifications and documentation of projects independently or with a larger team.
• Integrate technical requirements into documentation through graphics and modeling to communicate design intent to builders.
• Lead project through construction by addressing issues that arise and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain high client satisfaction through adherence to company standards and best practices.
