Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed architect in at least one U.S. state.
• 7+ years of client management experience.
• 7+ years of project leadership and management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
• Deltek project and resource management tools preferred.
• Revit knowledge beneficial.
• LEED credentials preferred.
• NCARB certified and eligible for reciprocal licensing in other states preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet directly with the client to analyze goals and conceive and develop architectural solutions.
• Plan the project budget, milestones, and schedule and track performance.
• Initiate and create schematic designs and plans with responsibility for drawings.
• Coordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete documents on schedule.
• Direct and coordinate with engineering disciplines and third-party vendors, reviewing docs for conflicts.
• Write or edit the owner provided architectural specifications.
• Plan, initiate, and run project meetings, set agendas, and issue minutes.
• Ensure code and accessibility compliance across building regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate addenda, ASIs, RFIs, and change orders; incorporate changes into documents.
• Analyze and negotiate pay applications and change orders.
• Report project completion for billing, approve invoices, and lead collections activities.
• Provide supervision and guidance to others assigned to facilitate delivery of a project.
