Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Program Specialist in Northumberland, PA. The role uses best practices and technology in a community-based residential setting to teach individuals with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible.

The candidate must handle crisis situations and work with flexible schedules. Starting pay is $54,000 per year. Responsibilities include staff evaluations, budget monitoring, scheduling, trainings, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with relevant work experience in developmental disabilities or autism.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience.
• Associate degree or 60 credit hours with four years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete staff evaluations including 90-day and annual reviews.
• Monitor and maintain residential budgets and staff schedules.
• Schedule trainings, seminars, and conferences for staff.
• Monitor documentation to ensure accuracy and prepare progress reports.
• Serve on IDT and participate in Individual Habilitation Plan development.
• Assist with housing, vehicles, and consumer finances as needed.
