Job summary

TRC, a global environmental and engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to lead surveying services on major utility and infrastructure projects across North America. You will mentor teams and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction while integrating GIS, LiDAR, UAV, and modern field workflows.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in one or more U.S. states.
• Bachelor's degree in surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive professional surveying experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary survey projects.
• Strong knowledge of boundary law, right-of-way, ALTA/NSPS, and exhibit/plat production.
• Experience using GPS and modern surveying workflows; proficient with GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage surveying projects from proposal through final deliverables.
• Serve as Survey Project Manager or Survey Technical Lead on utility and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare project execution plans including staffing and scheduling.
• Provide oversight for boundary, easement, ALTA/NSPS, and topographic surveys.
• Review and certify survey deliverables per state laws and standards.
• Mentor survey professionals and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
