Cochran is seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to join our growing civil engineering practice across Missouri. You will oversee survey operations, mentor field crews, and ensure delivery of high-quality surveying services for public and private clients.

The ideal candidate has a PLS license, 5+ years of surveying experience, and proficiency with Trimble, Leica, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active PLS license required.
• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience, with leadership of field crews.
• Proficiency in survey software and equipment (Trimble, Leica, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, legal codes and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and perform land surveying services for civil engineering projects.
• Supervise and lead field crews; ensure accurate data collection.
• Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey drawings.
• Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys.
• Interpret plans and engineering documents to guide survey activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and clients on requirements.
• Review and certify final survey documents with PLS stamp and signature.
