Job summary

Earles Engineering & Inspection seeks a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our Kansas team with openings in Pittsburg, McPherson, and Liberal offices as well as the Kansas City metro area.

The role will act as the licensed surveyor of record on boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking projects, reviewing deliverables and guiding field crews. This is an on-site opportunity with growth potential and direct client interaction.

Qualifications

• Active PLS license in KS (or in progress).
• Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or civil engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Professional Land Surveyor of record, sealing plats and legal descriptions.
• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and staking surveys for civil projects.
• Direct and mentor field crews and technicians, ensuring data quality.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and project managers on land development projects.
• Prepare and review property descriptions and plats for filing.
• Provide construction staking and layout for active projects.
• Maintain compliance with KS Board of Technical Professions requirements.
