Job summary

AV in Simi Valley, CA seeks a Production Team Lead to test/assemble Loitering Munition Systems in our manufacturing facility, following engineering drawings and work orders. You will lead a small team and mentor technicians to meet high quality standards.

Responsibilities include mechanical subassembly, final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles, testing, and troubleshooting. Strong hand-tool and soldering skills, HS diploma and 2–4 years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in manufacturing or production in electronics or electro‑mechanical assembly and test.
• Experience with hand tools and soldering.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble subassemblies with hand and power tools; some soldering may be required.
• Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineering to improve assembly documents and quality.
• Help improve assembly efficiency and reduce costs alongside manufacturing engineers.
• Ensure work order protocols and paperwork are followed during tasks.
• May train other technicians and perform in‑process quality checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Take initiative and work with limited daily direction.
