Job summary

This role requires an associate degree or equivalent, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience supervising 20–40 staff is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production workers on a manufacturing floor.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize daily production.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise 20-40 employees on the production floor.
• Promote a safe work culture; train employees; direct work; appraise performance; address complaints; resolve problems.
• Engage with employees to foster a safe work environment and promote behavior to create a quality product.
• Communicate with operations and stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
• Interface with others to ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Execute the schedule according to work order priority.
• Analyze work orders to estimate hours and create schedules.
• Interpret specifications and blueprints for workers.
• Inspect parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Direct workers to repair products meeting quality standards.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods and quality.
• Maintain time and production/labor records.
