Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Lead Production Scheduler to strategically plan and maintain the Shop Floor Schedule, balancing capacity, material availability, and customer demand. You will guide a small team, drive scheduling accuracy, and align activities with revenue and growth targets.

You will leverage ERP tools (IFS/SAP) and MS Excel for data-driven decisions, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with managers to mitigate risks and optimize production flow.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of production scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred or similar qualification.
• Proven leadership experience with 1–3 direct reports.
• Excellent organizational and forward-thinking mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Ability to delegate while maintaining scheduling accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems used in manufacturing.
• High-level MS Excel data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to mitigate risks.
• Experience supporting shop floor activities and forecasting in an ETO environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the Shop Floor Schedule (SFS).
• Provide guidance and feedback to schedulers (1–3 reports).
• Delegate tasks to maximize efficiency and on-time completion.
• Support strategic scheduling initiatives and balance capacity.
• Utilize ERP (IFS/SAP) to forecast plant demand with data-driven decisions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for scheduling effectiveness and utilization.
• Collaborate with production managers and senior leadership on schedules.
