Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is seeking a Production Scheduler in Moorpark, CA, reporting to the Value Stream Manager. The role focuses on comprehensive planning and management of daily manufacturing activities to support production programs within designated cells.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Shop Floor Supervisor and Production Planner to coordinate logistics, execution and task completion for product manufacturing, aiming to optimize flow and capacity.

Qualifications

• BS degree in operations management, supply chain management, engineering or equivalent.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP and MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead all scheduling actions to drive material and capacity requirements.
• Review new sales orders to determine feasible delivery dates.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and visual boards for assigned cells.
• Plan operator and equipment resources monthly (MS Project/Excel).
• Create weekly work plans for production flow.
• Brief daily on status, obstacles and required assistance.
• Present production area performance to senior management when required.
• Coordinate with engineers, planners and buyers to ensure material flow.
