Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Team Leader to provide daily leadership, direction, and support to packing associates, line feeders and stackers in a high-volume facility. The role focuses on safe, organized, and efficient operation and proactive problem solving to improve performance.

The candidate will supervise duties, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with management to assign priorities and optimize workflow, while maintaining quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability and supervision experience.
• Fluent reading/writing and spoken English required.
• Spanish bilingualism preferred.
• Experience with high-volume warehouse or production environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties to crew members to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize tasks and communicate issues.
• Ensure safety and efficient operations of the crew at all times.
• Correct unsafe work methods and ensure HACCP/food safety guidelines are followed.
