Job summary

Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., is seeking a Production Planner Supervisor in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on coordinating planning activities across PPC, driving schedules, and optimizing production flow to meet customer demand.

You will lead and mentor teams, collaborate with warehouse and finance on inventory, and monitor KPIs to ensure safety, quality and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Operations, Business or equivalent experience.
Strong initiative, problem solving, customer service and interpersonal skills.
3–5 years of manufacturing experience with cross-functional collaboration.
Proficient with MRP software, Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

Develop and train staff to ensure efficient, safe, high‑quality production and timely customer delivery.
Collaborate with Warehouse and Finance on inventory levels, safety stock, turns and slow moving stock.
Provide coaching and day‑to‑day support to commercial and production departments.
Develop, implement and monitor summary schedules to meet customer demand.
Perform capacity analysis, level-loading, expediting and outsourcing as needed.
Serve as primary information conduit between operations and commercial teams.
Ensure operations align with budget guidelines and KPIs.
