Job summary

Bumble Inc. seeks an senior ML leader to define and drive the technical strategy for AI and ML systems powering recommendations, ranking, and personalization across Bumble products.

You will design and deploy production-grade models with PyTorch, build AI agents using LLMs, and architect end-to-end ML pipelines with Spark and Airflow. You will mentor senior contributors and influence at the highest levels.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in ML leadership and production systems.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying large-scale ML in production.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Expertise in prompting and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and production AI Agents.
• Experience designing scalable data and ML pipelines with Spark and Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical strategy for ML at Bumble across recommendations, ranking, and personalization.
• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade models using PyTorch and other frameworks.
• Build and deploy production AI Agents with LLMs and MCP integrations.
• Architect end-to-end ML pipelines integrating data processing with model training and deployment.
• Drive experimentation via A/B testing and offline evaluation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to translate business challenges into ML solutions.
• Mentor senior contributors and foster a culture of Excellence and continuous learning.
• Own complex problems from insight to impact in an agile environment.
• Champion responsible AI practices for fairness, transparency, and safety.
