Job summary

RW Screw is seeking a Production Floor Manager with strong machining experience to lead daily operations at our Massillon, OH facility. The role emphasizes safety, quality, delivery, cost control, and people leadership in a high-mix, high-volume environment.

You will manage supervisors and hourly staff, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement through data and standard work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years in floor leadership, and a proven ability to use

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a machining environment.
• 3+ years of production or floor leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and setups.
• Experience in high-mix / high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead teams and accountability on the shop floor.
• Comfortable using production metrics and data to drive decisions.
• Knowledge of ISO and TS standards and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily machining operations across assigned production areas to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
• Balance labor, machines, and priorities in a dynamic, high mix/high-volume environment.
• Identify constraints and adjust schedules and resources in real time.
• Directly lead supervisors, leads, and hourly associates.
• Set clear expectations, reinforce standard work, and hold teams accountable.
• Conduct regular floor walks, coaching, and performance feedback.
