Talis Group, Inc. client seeks a Production Engineering Supervisor to lead plant operations, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. This hands-on management role oversees engineers, operators, and contractors to deliver reliable, high-quality production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of process/production engineering or plant operations experience.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and processes and coordinating projects.
• Experience in utilities, chemical processing, water distribution, or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Engineer license in Kentucky or eligibility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coach, and develop operators and apprentices for safe, efficient plant operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, process control issues, and production challenges; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives and capital projects to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, work instructions, and training covering equipment operation and safety.
• Monitor product quality and production data; adjust processes to maintain quality and optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and Process Safety Management requirements.
