Job summary

Benchmark in Minnesota seeks a capacities planning specialist to monitor and optimize long-range sales planning and production schedules for major programs. You will develop manufacturing plans, reflect progress against schedules, and advise resource allocation.

In large sites, supervise scheduler activities to meet customer commitments. Responsibilities include creating site-wide schedules from engineering release to delivery, analyzing deviations, and presenting reports to management.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans and schedules of manufacturing activities on site wide major programs or product lines from engineering release through to product delivery of completed prime equipment and spares.
• Provides weekly capacity analysis by work center and headcount; presents charts and reports outlining status against schedules.
