Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years in production artist or graphic design; 2+ years in team lead/management.
• Experience with technical products (lighting) preferred.
• Experience with DAM systems and digital workflow management.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about team development and process improvement.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring creative or production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and support the Production Artist team with a growth-oriented culture.
• Provide ongoing training, feedback, and professional development for technical, creative, and communication skills.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and development planning with direct reports.
• Establish expectations, quality standards, and best practices for artwork creation.
• Guide artists in project ownership, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving.
• Serve as escalation point for design, production, and technical challenges.
• Manage team workload, priorities, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Project Management to set priorities and due dates.
• Track project progress in Wrike and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
• Support high-priority initiatives requiring advanced production expertise.
• Provide visibility to leadership on capacity and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of packaging, data sheets, manuals, and renderings.
• Review and approve artwork for technical accuracy and brand consistency.
• Develop quality control processes to minimize errors and improve first-pass approvals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Lead templates and AI-enabled workflow improvements for efficiency.
