Job description

The Lead Product Software Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of scalable and high-performance applications including iFirm Tracking, Taxprep Gemini, CPE link, and PTM DevOps. This role requires strong leadership skills and extensive experience in .NET-based development across both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will drive the technical direction, mentor junior developers, and ensure high-quality application development.

Tech stack:
  1. Must Have
  2. Proficient in .NET Core, Web Services/Web API, OOP
  3. Expert in HTML/CSS, Cloud-based development (Azure)
  4. Front-end development using Angular, CosmosDB, and exposure to at least one JavaScript framework
  5. Expert in code refactoring, quality improvement, and performance optimization
  6. Experience working in an agile environment with SDLC methodologies like Scrum, SAFe, etc.
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  8. Experience in writing Unit Tests, using Mocking Frameworks
  9. Experience with C#, .NET Framework, WinForms, OOAD, and DevExpress UI components
  10. Experience with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Docker, Figma, Confluence
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate regularly with product managers and scrum masters regarding development status, issues, and risks
  • Collaborate with PTM DevOps stakeholders to address technical and architectural challenges
Code Quality and Testing:
  • Implement unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality
  • Perform code reviews to maintain standards and identify improvements
  • Promptly debug technical issues
Performance and Optimization:
  • Refactor and innovate to improve code quality
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance of iFirm Tracking and PTM DevOps deployment scripts
