The Lead Product Owner will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive approach to deliver one or more large and/or complex products, capabilities, services, or enhancements in accordance with the product roadmap. An integral member of the team that contributes to the organizational strategy. Works with Product Managers, Business Leaders, and a cross-functional Scrum team to deliver the product to the client. Manages the overall effort to deliver products, capabilities, services, and enhancements using the strategic vision as well as established key performance indicators. Understands the functionality, determines the release sequence and budget to maximize customer satisfaction and ROI. Prioritizes and maintains the product backlog and performs just-in-time story elaboration with the development team. Recognized as an expert within the company, requiring in-depth and/or broad expertise in Product Management and other relevant disciplines to successfully manage the product.

This role requires a high-level technical understanding of Salesforce Applications, primarily Sales Cloud, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record of success in a dynamic, fast-paced software development environment. They must be adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and capable of making quick, informed product decisions.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  1. Partner with other Product Leads and Business Stakeholders to understand and influence product strategy while generating innovative ideas for achieving product success.
  2. Work with scrum teams to determine alternative development strategies, solutions, and release dates.
  3. Translate business requirements into features and user stories, collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft solutions/documentation, and represent customer needs in product delivery.
  4. Monitor products and platforms to evaluate consumer and client satisfaction, ROI, and achievement of original objectives.
  5. Partner with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to create business roadmaps that increase delivered value and efficiency over time.
  6. Collaborate with the Release Train Core Team to develop release plans supporting go-to-market strategies.
  7. Communicate progress toward milestones as software is released.
  8. Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in application features, capabilities, and business rules.
  9. Make rapid tactical decisions to maintain team momentum and focus on value delivery.
  10. Prioritize Scrum Team backlog with guidance from Product Leads to ensure alignment with strategy and roadmap.
  11. Work closely with the Scrum Master to optimize team velocity.
  12. Coordinate with the Scrum Master to prioritize and schedule defect resolutions.
  13. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release planning meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent combination such as a master's degree with 4 years' experience, Ph.D. with 1 year, or 10 years' experience.
  • Ability to understand and articulate internal and external customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, across business and technical audiences.
  • Experience in strategic planning with business partners.
  • Proven experience leading Scrum teams in Agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience successfully delivering software to market.
  • Self-directed problem solver with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work directly with customers to understand their application usage.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in Agile Product Development.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Experience with Rally Software.

Salary Range: USD 108,800.00 - 181,400.00 per year.

Compensation includes a base salary within this range, varying based on location, skills, and experience. Additional incentives may be available.

Benefits include flexible paid time off, seven paid holidays, up to 160 hours of paid wellness leave annually, and other paid leaves such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, and parental leave.
