Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, program management, or product marketing.
  • 5 years of experience in product and/or experience management.
  • CSPO certification (preferred).
  • Master’s degree in business administration or similar advanced degree (preferred).
  • Experience working with senior leadership in a large organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Inventory platform.
  • Collaborate with EDPO, CIS, Information Operations, Technology Operations, and IA to deliver governance and protection solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through implementation and ongoing operations.
  • Develop and prioritize requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage product backlog and sprint planning with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead large and complex product launches, including UAT and post-launch reviews.

FINRA’s Office of the Chief Data Officer is seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of an enterprise-wide Data Inventory platform. This role will drive a strategic initiative to identify, document, and manage sensitive data assets across structured and semi-structured data sources, enabling the organization to implement focused, risk-based data protection controls.As the Lead Product Manager for our Data Inventory initiative, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a platform that discovers and catalogs sensitive data elements at the attribute level across enterprise data stores. You will work closely with Enterprise Data Privacy Office (EDPO), Cyber and Information Security (CIS), Information Operations, Technology Operations, and Internal Audit (IA) teams to deliver a solution that addresses critical data governance and protection requirements.Essential Job Functions:User Insight & Product DefinitionDevelops deep understanding of the business and product areas
