Job summary

PayPal is hiring a Lead Product Manager to unify product strategy across Braintree's developer surfaces: mobile SDKs, web SDK, server SDKs, and GraphQL API. You’ll own GraphQL strategy, versioning, deprecation, and schema sign-off, and drive a roadmap for enterprise integrations and AI-enabled developer experiences.

You’ll influence executive reviews, guide SDK and API PMs, and plan sunsetting of older versions while migrating merchants to current APIs.

Qualifications

8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Drives product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders.
Plans and implements the architectural roadmap that balances design and technical execution, regulatory requirements, time-to-market, customer needs and profitability.
Assesses customer experience and needs in product requirements and decision making.
Sets up data gathering mechanisms relative to metrics for usability studies and market analysis.
Leads workstreams for analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis.
Oversees product profitability measures, including budget.
Plans operational mechanisms for execution and accountability (product reviews, operating reviews, business reviews).
Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
Partners with content strategists, data scientists, designers and researchers.
