Job summary

Ascend is hiring a Lead Product Manager to define the vision and strategy for our core money movement products. You’ll partner with an existing PM and eventually own this area, spanning integrations, invoicing, payments, receivables, financing, payouts, funds flow, and full payment lifecycle.

You’ll own vision, strategy, and execution for a set of interconnected products, align priorities across teams, and drive measurable gains in adoption, efficiency, automation, and revenue.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience including ownership of vision and outcomes.
• Proven record translating product strategy into successful launches and measurable results.
• Experience building for enterprise customers with complex workflows and integration requirements.
• Hands-on experience writing product and technical specifications with clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and strategy for our core money movement products.
• Write product and technical specs for top initiatives, covering workflows and edge cases.
• Align product, engineering, and leadership on priorities and sequencing.
• Own and evolve the product area, expanding scope over time.
• Build AI into workflows to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Design, GTM, and Operations to simplify financial workflows.
