Beyond Logix is attempting to redefine the future of global freight forwarding. We’re building an AI-powered, end-to-end logistics SaaS platform that empowers importers with smarter, faster, and fully digital shipping experiences. As we approach our public launch in Spring 2026, we’re seeking a high-performing, high-potential Lead Product Manager, AI & Automation to drive our product strategy and grow into a future executive leader within our organization.

Unlike most startups, Beyond Logix is profitable, independently funded, and fully in control of our own growth. This is a company-led initiative, not reliant on external venture capital—which means more stability, more ownership, and more long-term opportunity for you.

Your Mission

This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be a builder—responsible for transforming vision into reality, from 0 to 1, and then from 1 to scale. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation, collaborating directly with the executive team and engineering leads to ship products that change how global trade gets done.

You will:

  • Define and execute the AI product vision and strategy for Beyond Logix, identifying opportunities to build a defensible competitive moat through intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and optimization.
  • Develop and own the unified product roadmap across our entire platform, with a strategic emphasis on leveraging AI to create step-change improvements in freight tracking, customs automation, and rate marketplace dynamics.
  • Oversee the product strategy for our core data assets, ensuring the data acquisition, labeling, and governance required to build and train best-in-class machine learning models.
  • Translate complex customer problems and business goals into precise product requirements, user stories, and model-level specifications for our data science and engineering teams.
  • Lead sprint planning and delivery cycles, balancing foundational platform work with the iterative, experimental nature of AI product development.
  • Champion the "why" behind our AI initiatives, translating complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling customer benefits and business value for internal stakeholders.
  • Integrate API partners (Freightos, PortPro, Clearit, etc.) into a unified, intuitive user experience.
  • Use data to drive product decisions and continuously refine features for performance, adoption, and ROI.
  • Help define product success metrics, launch milestones, and go-to-market alignment.
  • Build toward a leadership path—this role is designed to evolve into a Director or VP-level position.
You Bring

You’re a product leader in the making: fast-moving, solutions-oriented, and unafraid to take ownership in high-stakes situations. You understand the demands of an early-stage, high-performance culture—and you rise to the challenge.

Must-haves:

  • 4–7 years in product management, with at least 2-3 years focused specifically on building and shipping AI/ML-powered products in a SaaS, logistics, or similarly complex domain.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the entire lifecycle of AI/ML products, from data collection and model ideation to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven success shipping technically complex products from concept to launch in fast-paced environments.
  • A deep understanding of how to apply AI/ML to solve real-world business problems, with the ability to distinguish between genuine opportunities and hype.
  • Strong grasp of API-based platforms, user-centric design, and data-driven iteration.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication, with experience managing agile teams that include data scientists and ML engineers.
  • Natural bias toward ownership, urgency, and measurable results.
  • Hunger to grow into a senior product leadership role.

Bonus:

  • Direct experience in the global freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or drayage industry.
  • Hands-on experience with products utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, or natural language processing (NLP).
  • A technical background or strong familiarity with data science concepts and modern machine learning frameworks.
  • Experience building products that automate complex documentation workflows (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations).
Why Beyond Logix
  • Executive Trajectory – This is a performance-based path to Director or VP of Product within 12–24 months.
  • Self-Funded & Profitable – We control our own future and operate with financial strength and stability.
  • High-Visibility – Work directly with the executive team on platform strategy and execution.
  • Massive Impact – Help build a platform that’s poised to disrupt a trillion-dollar global industry.
  • Ownership Mentality – Competitive compensation and equity, with leadership opportunities as we scale.
  • Flexibility – Work from our HQ in Allen, TX or remotely, with quarterly in-person collaboration weeks.
