Job summary

Envestnet is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the roadmap and strategy for insights-driven and AI-enabled capabilities across multiple lines of business. You will partner closely with Data Product, Data Science, Engineering, Integrations, and Design teams to deliver scalable features embedded across Envestnet applications and partner ecosystems.

This role emphasizes data fluency, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience building AI-powered products in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • 8–10 years of product management experience; ownership of data-driven products or features; AI-enabled analytics experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience working in agile product development environments.
  • Ability to partner with Engineering, Data, and Analytics teams on complex initiatives.
  • High data fluency with ability to translate analytics into product capabilities; GenAI familiarity a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Team You’ll Join

You will join a highly collaborative, cross-functional Product organization focused on advancing AI-enabled capabilities and insights across Envestnet’s wealth management platform. In this role, you will partner closely with Product leaders, Data Product, Data Science, Engineering, Integrations, and Design teams to deliver scalable, platform-agnostic solutions. The team is centered on driving innovation through data and AI, embedding capabilities such as decision intelligence and Next Best Action across core products including the Envestnet Advisor Portal, MoneyGuide, and Tamarac. This fast-paced, forward-thinking environment emphasizes strong collaboration, technical partnership, and a shared focus on delivering measurable outcomes and enhanced advisor experiences.

How You’ll Contribute

In this role, the Lead Product Manager will own the roadmap and strategy for insights driven and AI enabled capabilities, including decision intelligence and Next Best Action solutions, across multiple lines of business. Working in close partnership with the Channel Product Management leader, this role defines priorities, drives delivery, and advances horizontal, platform agnostic features embedded across Envestnet applications and partner ecosystems.

This role is well suited for a data fluent, strategy oriented product leader who thrives in fast moving environments and brings hands on experience building AI powered products. The Lead Product Manager will partner closely with Data Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Integrations teams to ensure insights and AI capabilities are scalable, explainable, and consistently applied across Envestnet experiences including the Envestnet Advisor Portal, MoneyGuide, and Tamarac, as well as external platforms such as CRMs, planning, and other fintech providers.

  • AI and insights delivery – Own and drive execution of AI-enabled and insights-driven features, including decision intelligence and Next Best Action capabilities, with accountability for adoption and measurable business outcomes.
  • Cross-channel enablement – Partner with channel Product leaders to apply AI and insights consistently across products and lines of business.
  • Product discovery – Identify, validate, and prioritize high-impact AI and insights use cases through stakeholder and customer engagement, including GenAI and agentic workflow opportunities.
  • Data partnership – Collaborate with Data Product and Data Science teams to translate models, analytics, and insights into usable product features; ensure outputs are explainable, auditable, and aligned with responsible AI standards.
  • Platform-agnostic integration – Work closely with Integrations and Engineering to surface AI and insights via scalable, API-driven approaches across internal and external platforms.
  • Agile execution – Define features, epics, and stories with clear acceptance criteria; manage priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Cross-functional collaboration – Partner daily with Engineering, Design, Data, and Platform teams to align scope, dependencies, and delivery.
  • Metrics and iteration – Define success metrics tied to advisor workflow impact and business outcomes; use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement, adoption, and demonstrated ROI.
  • Stakeholder communication – Communicate product goals, progress, outcomes, and tradeoffs to Product leadership and partners.
  • Customer focus – Ensure AI and insights features solve real advisor, enterprise, and asset manager workflow needs.
  • Risk and compliance awareness - Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • Corporate Policies - As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
What You’ll Need to Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered
  • 8-10 years of experience in product management, with ownership of complex, data-driven products or features; experience shipping AI-enabled or analytics products strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience working in agile product development environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Engineering, Data, and Analytics teams on technically complex initiatives.
  • High data fluency, with experience translating analytics, insights, or models into customer-facing product capabilities; working familiarity with GenAI, LLM-based features, or agentic workflows is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product value and technical concepts clearly.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Demonstrated experience shipping AI-enabled, analytics, or decision intelligence products (e.g., Next Best Action, recommendations, personalization, or generative AI features) with measurable user adoption.
  • Working knowledge of data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics concepts, including the ability to engage meaningfully with model teams on evaluation criteria, feature design, and explainability.
  • Experience building or integrating products using APIs and supporting platform-agnostic delivery models.
  • Understanding of model lifecycle concepts (training, evaluation, monitoring, drift) and responsible AI practices, including explainability and auditability requirements relevant to regulated financial services environments.
  • Background in fintech, wealth management, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Experience working across multiple products or lines of business rather than a single standalone application.
