About this role:

The Money Movement Product Management Organization within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Operations leads the strategy, design, and prioritization of cash and securities movement process automation and management capabilities. The team drives close collaboration across all Wealth & Investment Management product verticals to drive a consistent and seamless experience for Financial Advisors, Client Associates, and Clients.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to join our Product Management Team to define and own requirements for our suite of Money Movement applications. This role will partner with various business stakeholders and will drive the money movement experience to align with firm-wide initiatives and goals. The individual will collaboratively work with technology partners to create and maintain features and capabilities that will enrich the overall customer experience for all channels under the Wells Fargo Advisors umbrella.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives for new products or enhancements
  • Review and analyze complex product lines and services
  • Implement change delivery solutions for the portfolio's technology work of low to moderate complexity
  • Oversee risk management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with managers, stakeholders, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery team to resolve issues and achieve project goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
  • Serve as a Scrum Team Product Owner to lead the delivery of Money Movement software product enhancements
  • Author User Stories, lead Story Refinement sessions and Backlog grooming, and work with Product Managers to analyze, implement, and deliver product change


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working with Agile technology development including experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services including but not limited to wealth management, asset management and community banking
  • Self starter, ideated, create and incorporate design thinking fundamentals into the product design
  • Experience creating efficiencies and increasing productivity
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements analysis including: identification of alternative solutions and associated tradeoffs

  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
