- Experience in insurance filing strategy for actively sold or marketed products

Day to day:

An employer is seeking a Lead Product Filing Specialist to join their team remotely. This individual will be part of a newly created company, backed by two private equity firms, focusing on the annuity space. The Lead Specialist will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and lead the regulatory filing function. Responsibilities include building the filing infrastructure, establishing best practices, preparing, submitting, and managing state filings via SERFF, and developing policy forms with actuarial, legal, product, and marketing teams. Experience with actively marketed annuity products and interaction with regulators and internal stakeholders, including the CPO and General Counsel, is essential.
