About the Role

Matterport seeks a visionary Lead Product Designer, a systems-level thinker with a keen eye for clean visual design and user-centric interactions. You will lead the design of digital twin experiences, integrating AI technologies, and work closely with product teams to develop engaging, simple, yet innovative solutions. Strong communication, conceptual thinking, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a collaborative spirit and the ability to advocate for high design standards.

Responsibilities

1. Own and drive design strategy throughout the product lifecycle, including planning, scoping, and delivery.
2. Design and implement AI-powered digital twin experiences from concept through execution.
3. Create and communicate project information to stakeholders and design leaders.
4. Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and cross-functional teams.
5. Prioritize needs, manage feedback, and facilitate stakeholder approvals.
6. Mentor team members, promote collaboration, and support professional growth.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• 10+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating diverse AI-driven digital experiences.
• Deep understanding of creative processes and project management best practices.
• Ability to manage workflows across multiple departments and teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
