Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an experienced User Experience Designer to lead the design of complex tax products and digital experiences. You will translate product strategy into human-centered interfaces, create wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, data-driven solutions.

You will mentor teams, apply design system guidelines, and advocate for accessible, user-focused design across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Design, HCI, CS, information science, graphic/interaction design preferred, or ten (10)+ years of UX design experience.
• Eight (8)+ years of experience in product design, required.
• Experience with user research and usability testing methods preferred.
• Certification in UX Design or Interaction Design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy into user-centered design solutions.
• Lead design workstreams for products or features from concept to delivery.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Conduct and apply findings from user research and usability tests.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to evolve design systems.
