Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an experienced product design leader to shape user experiences across tax-related digital products. You will guide cross-functional teams, translate strategy into intuitive interfaces, and champion human-centered design from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities include leading design workstreams, creating wireframes and prototypes, conducting user research, and evolving the design system while collaborating with product management and engineering.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of experience in product design, required
• Cross platform web and mobile application design, preferred
• Experience with user research and usability testing methods, preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with cross-team work experience

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy and requirements into user-centered design solutions
• Lead design workstreams for products or features
• Design intuitive interfaces for complex tax products grounded in human-centered design
• Create and maintain wireframes, storyboards, user flows, prototypes and visual designs
• Conduct and apply user research and usability testing insights
• Collaborate to evolve design system components and guidelines
• Present concepts to product teams and stakeholders and incorporate feedback
• Contribute to design process improvements and cross-team collaboration
• Advocate for human-centered design within delivery teams
