Job summary

Google is seeking a Mid-level Product Deployment Engineer for the Search+, gTech Ads team. You will bridge customer requirements with engineering capabilities, delivering scalable, technically sound deployment solutions and driving adoption for key products.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams, translating needs into concrete specifications and coordinating hand-offs to ensure successful deployments and value realization for advertisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Responsibilities

• Advise on maximizing complex product adoption, prioritizing scalable solutions with last-mile customization.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear system architectures and technical specifications.
• Lead technical hand-overs to the Engineering team by authoring high-quality, prototype-grounded Business Requirement Documents and Product Requirement Documents aligned with the product roadmap.
• Identify systemic product gaps and edge cases and serve as a feedback loop to the Ads Solution Engineering team.
• Act as a trusted advisor providing technical-product oversight during implementation, ensuring the Engineering build aligns with customer strategy.
