Job summary
AptarGroup, Inc. in Mukwonago, WI is seeking a Process Technician Lead onsite to provide advanced technical support and shift-level leadership for high-speed injection molding operations in a closures manufacturing environment. This role combines expert-level process troubleshooting with structured coaching and shift-level process stability ownership. You will mentor technicians and partner with Engineering and Production to improve uptime, scrap reduction, and system consistency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
5–8 years of injection molding process experience in high-speed manufacturing.
Master mold setup, startup and troubleshooting proficiency.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to mentor and coach technicians.
Responsibilities
Lead troubleshooting of complex molding instability including fill imbalance, short shots, flash, splay, burn, and dimensional drift.
Stabilize high-cavitation molds by analyzing heat, pressure, time, and distance.
Oversee startup validation and ensure documented process windows are followed.
Escalate chronic instability with structured diagnostic documentation to Process Engineering.
Lead RCA events related to process performance.
