Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Process Technician Supervisor in Alabama to lead a team of process technicians on extrusion lines. The role focuses on productivity, quality and troubleshooting to keep operations efficient and compliant with SOPs and safety policies.

The supervisor will mentor technicians, share best practices, and coordinate with planning, maintenance and quality teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a supervisory or lead operator role or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and to use a tape measure and calipers.
• Experience with molders and brush machines is preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts and pass a drug test.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of process technicians across extrusion lines.
• Train, mentor and evaluate technicians; ensure SOP and safety compliance.
• Assist operators in solving processing issues and adjust parameters as needed.
• Collaborate with planning, maintenance and quality teams to meet output goals.
• Maintain training records and ensure documents are kept up to date.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
