Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Process Engineer for the Mehoopany, PA office to lead process mechanical design on client projects and collaborate with a cross-functional team. The role supports long-term relationships with a stable client and requires onsite presence 1–2 days per week with hotel accommodations provided.

The position requires a BS in mechanical or chemical engineering and 10+ years of process engineering experience, with leadership experience. PE license is preferred within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of process engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams of engineers, designers, contractors, construction managers, vendors, and OEMs

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the process mechanical design effort on projects
• Hold team members accountable to quality work product
• Perform QAQC of engineering and design deliverables
• Support business development and proposal activities including concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated cost
• Interface with clients and vendors on a regular basis
• Work in a manufacturing environment to gather field data and conduct field investigations when required for project work
• Generate equipment specifications and construction documents/packages
• Work as part of a collaborative project team with contractors and client
• Review vendor submittals and lead design reviews
• Travel to client sites and vendors for work (up to 25%)
