Join to apply for the Lead Process Engineer role at Genesis

Genesis is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. The role involves developing process models, sizing major equipment, and supporting various upstream oil and gas projects, including conceptual, feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED, and Brownfield studies.

Responsibilities include:

1. Executing study activities under the supervision of the Study Manager.
2. Assisting with process discipline manhour estimates for proposals.
3. Developing process simulation models for upstream oil and gas processing, including PFDs, H&MBs, and P&IDs.
4. Sizing of unit operations using in-house tools and software such as ASPEN Hysys and ProMax.
5. Preparing study deliverables and presenting simulation results clearly.
6. Supporting downstream or sustainable energy studies.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Natural Gas Engineering.
• 5-10 years of process or facilities engineering experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of offshore and onshore oil & gas production/processing systems.
• Experience with steady state and transient process simulations.
• Additional pluses include debottlenecking, LNG, Hydrogen, CCUS, energy transition, project economics, and familiarity with AI/ML tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools is desirable.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
