Job summary

J.P. Morgan Private Bank seeks an accomplished Investor to lead client relationships, advise on investment solutions, and deepen connections with UHNW clients. You will review objectives, propose appropriate products, and align with compliance requirements.

You will work with private bankers and teammates to explore new opportunities while ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory controls. This role focuses on delivering first-rate advisory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in a similar investment advisory capacity at another Private Bank or wealth management firm, covering the Hong Kong market.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and results-focused.
• Sound knowledge of the financial industry; knowledge in Hong Kong markets is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments.
• Understand and have working knowledge of private banking regulatory and control environments.

Responsibilities

• Be the lead Investor on a portfolio of key client relationships for the Hong Kong business, and act as primary resource for investment communication.
• Conduct investment reviews with clients to validate objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products.
• Communicate bank views and solutions to help clients meet financial objectives.
• Develop relationships with team members and work to meet business goals.
• On-board new client relationships and deepen existing ones.
• Maintain investment dialogue with clients and implement investment plans.
• Provide advice and investment solutions per legal and compliance requirements.
• Work with Private Bankers to identify new business opportunities.
• Adhere to bank policies to protect the business from risks.
• Supervise and train junior staff as needed.
