Transamerica, Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Lead Financial Analyst to join Investment Operations and report to the Investment Reporting team. You will work with Portfolio Management, Finance, Tax, technology, and other stakeholders to properly account for private debt and private equity investments from funding to exit.

The role emphasizes accountability, transparency, and timely insights into investment performance, with hybrid office expectations and a focus on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years experience, with degree. Advanced computer skills.
• Experience in investment operations and private credit concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with CIO office to understand allocations and address questions promptly.
• Perform due diligence on new fund managers and ensure requirements are understood.
• Monitor cash flows, validate income accruals, amortization, and transfers between entities.
• Ensure reporting consistency across business and regulatory functions.
• Lead transitions of assets between product lines and oversee regulatory schedules.
