The Lead Principal Radiologic Technologist (LPRT), supervised by the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical Director, operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images following prescribed protocols and procedures. As the LPRT, you will demonstrate proficiency in conducting procedures on patients across all age groups, ensuring timely completion of studies with adherence to quality standards. Additionally, you will educate patients, assist in sterile technique procedures, and uphold patient confidentiality throughout the examination process. Proficiency in enhanced fluoroscopic duties in areas such as GI and GU arenas, Angiography, or Pediatric Diagnostics is also required.
The LPRT is expected to support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the Westwood and Santa Monica regions. Support at all UCLA Health radiology sites is required. Candidates must possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities for the role, including graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent, and current CRT, CRT - Fluoro, and ARRT licensure.
