Job summary

Germer International - Pharmaceutical Recruiting is seeking a Principal Scientist for a growing pharmaceutical client. The role focuses on designing and executing multistep organic syntheses, isolating and purifying targeted products, and advancing scalable processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (6+ years), or an MS (10+ years), or a BS (14+ years) and will work closely with chemistry and analytical teams, manage projects to completion, and ensure safe, compliant laboratory

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with 6+ years of lab experience.
• M.S. in Chemistry or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• B.S. in Chemistry or related field with 14+ years in lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute multistep organic syntheses for target compounds.
• Isolate and purify products and optimize scalable processes.
• Interpret analytical data and spectra using modern techniques.
• Coordinate projects with chemistry and analytical teams; manage timelines.
• Ensure safe laboratory operations and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports for internal and customer use.
