Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Lead Principal Product Manager to own a major strategic area across the organization, translating strategic-customer signals into a coherent strategy and driving cross-functional execution. The role focuses on AI/ML, Cloud Native, and Dedicated Cloud environments to create scalable product capabilities and stronger economics.

You will partner with Engineering to deliver reliable, secure, and price-performance driven features.

Responsibilities

• Align product development and prioritization with strategic-customer needs and market signals; own and evolve a clear roadmap from conception through launch and beyond.
• Build relationships with strategic customer executives, architects, and engineering leaders to understand priorities and requirements.
• Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable capabilities with reliability, security, performance, and price-performance.
• Lead design-partner, early-adopter, and beta programs to validate product direction and accelerate deployments.
• Translate customer insights into product requirements, specs, architectures, and roadmap investments; create and review product collateral.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch, ensuring decisions, risks, and owners are clear.
• Maintain awareness of AI/ML, Cloud Native, and Dedicated Cloud landscapes to sharpen OCI differentiation and strategy.
• Provide leadership with recommendations on roadmap priorities, investments, and customer commitments.
• Enable the field with validated architectures and deployment patterns; represent OCI with customers, partners, analysts, and industry audiences.
• Mentor and coach product managers to improve product thinking and decision-making across the team.

As a Lead Principal Product Manager, you will own a major strategic product area that reaches across organizations and influences line-of-business outcomes. You will translate strategic-customer adoption patterns, competitive signals, field insight, and technical constraints into a coherent strategy and lead cross-functional execution through influence. Your portfolio will support strategic customers across AI/ML, Cloud Native, and Dedicated Cloud environments. Success means a clearer path to production, lower operational risk, stronger economics, and scalable product capabilities—not one-off custom solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Align product development and prioritization with strategic-customer needs, company goals, workload patterns, and market signals; own and continuously evolve a clear, prioritized roadmap that drives product success from conception through launch and beyond.
• Build deep relationships with strategic customer executives, architects, and engineering leaders to understand priorities, target architectures, adoption barriers, and operational requirements.
• Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable capabilities that meet customer needs with industry-leading reliability, security, performance, and price-performance.
• Lead design-partner, early-adopter, and beta programs that validate product direction, accelerate production deployments, and generate reusable customer patterns.
• Translate customer insights into product requirements, product specifications, reference architectures, and roadmap investments; create and review product documentation, including design and functional specifications and product collateral, while distinguishing repeatable product opportunities from account-specific requests.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch, field readiness, and adoption; communicate effectively with internal partners across teams and maintain clear success measures, decisions, risks, and owners.
• Maintain a current view of the AI/ML, Cloud Native, and Dedicated Cloud competitive landscape to sharpen OCI differentiation and product strategy.
• Provide leadership with clear recommendations on roadmap priorities, investment decisions, customer commitments, and strategic tradeoffs.
• Enable the field with validated architectures, deployment patterns, operational best practices, collateral, and executive narratives; represent OCI with customers, partners, analysts, and industry audiences.
• Mentor and coach product managers and peers, raising the quality of product thinking, customer insight, and decision‑making across the team.
