The SPLAT team delivers foundational platform services for secure API routing, service registration, traffic management, distributed throttling, private connectivity, authentication, and safe-change enforcement. SPLAT sits in the request path for more than 300 OCI control planes and processes hundreds of billions of API requests each month.

We are seeking a Lead Principal Platform Software Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of critical platform systems and initiatives across teams. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role spanning high-throughput Java services, distributed systems, networking, security, and production reliability. You will write and review production code, guide architectural decisions, solve complex operational problems, and mentor engineers. Success requires sound technical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to drive progress when requirements, ownership, or failure boundaries are unclear.
