Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center in Canby, OR seeks a Provider Lead to work closely with the CMO and Clinic Manager to ensure efficient clinic operations and care quality. The role blends 10% administrative oversight with 90% direct patient care as a primary care provider.

You will develop clinical standards, support strategy, supervise PCP staff, participate in provider meetings, and help implement performance improvement plans. Oregon licensure and 5+ years PCP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Meets basic requirements and holds current Oregon state licensure as MD/DO, NP, PA with prescriptive privileges
• At least 5 years of practice experience as a primary care provider is required
• Previous leadership experience supervising other PCP providers is preferred

Responsibilities

• Partners with the Clinic Manager to ensure successful operations in the clinic
• Participates in team meetings, provider meetings, quality meetings, and other community or professional activities as requested by CMO
• Meets regularly with the CMO to review patient care issues and provides input into the development of treatment guidelines and protocols
• Provides on-site day to day clinical supervision and back-up of Primary Care Providers
• Organizes and leads site-provider team meetings
• Evaluates provider performance and communicates constructive feedback
• Works with individual providers when there are problem areas
• Provides supervision of assigned provider staff
• Collaborates in development of Performance Improvement Plans for providers at risk
• Analyzes provider staffing needs and makes recommendations for clinic needs
• Assesses provider staff needs for training, tools, and other resources necessary to carry out their duties
• Communicates accurate information from executive leadership and other teams to staff in a timely manner
