Job summary

Mercy Health in Jackson, MO is seeking a licensed practical nurse to serve in a lead role within the Jackson Primary Care Clinic. The nurse will refill medications, assist with treatments, and coordinate patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other departments.

Under supervision, you will maintain patient rights and confidentiality, participate in clinic appointments and patient calls, and ensure smooth testing and procedure flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN in the state of practice.
• ACLS/ALS certification may be required.
• PALS certification may be required.
• PEARS certification may be required.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• IV Certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Refill medications and assist with treatments under supervision.
• Provide patient care using nursing process and document appropriately.
