PrintWorkers is seeking a Lead Pressman for a direct hire on a 12-hour night shift in Oak Lawn, IL. The role offers medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits with a competitive hourly pay rate of $27–$40.

Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years of lithographic printing experience, familiarity with Komori or Heidelberg offset presses, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will lead press setup, maintain quality, and ensure accurate production records.

Qualifications

• Prefer 3+ years of lithographic printing experience or comparable machinery experience.
• Experience with Komori or Heidelberg offset presses is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with quality control systems, production documentation, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing presses following SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor production efficiency and print quality with accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform testing, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify production issues and communicate with downstream operators to reduce waste.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance per SOPs.
• Maintain productivity and meet press setup times and speeds.
• Follow quality control procedures and keep accurate production records.
• Communicate production goals and quality requirements clearly to the crew.
