Job summary

You will prepare children for success using a structured curriculum, observe progress with DRDP-R and ASQ measures, and involve families through conferences and at-home learning activities. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must pass live scan/background check.
• Site Supervisor permit or higher issued by CTC- California Teaching Credentialing.
• Current required immunizations: Pertussis, Measles, and influenza. TB test upon initial hiring.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• One year experience in working with children.
• Valid California Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Prepare children for success with a high quality program and age-appropriate curriculum.
• Develop weekly/monthly lesson plans to meet development needs using The Creative Curriculum.
• Observe and document child progress using DRDP-R and ASQ measurements.
• Organize and maintain a safe, engaging classroom including indoor and outdoor areas.
• Coordinate with parents to involve them in education and development.
